In the first "real" tournament game, the Murray State Racers raced away from Colorado State in the 2nd half. In fact, the first four games were all top seeds. Wisconsin, Kansas State and Louisville all grabbed first round victories against upset-minded teams. Wisconsin trounced Montana, Louisville thumped Davidson and Kansas State won a hard fought battle with Southern Miss. 3 seed Marquette was up 15 on 14 seed BYU. That lead is now 8.
For the 7th time in history, a 16 seed has taken a lead into the locker room against a 1 seed. UNC Asheville took a 34-30 team against Syracuse.
So far, the only loss in my bracket is Davidson, as Peyton Siva led Louisville over the Wildcats. We have a plethora of games to get through today, so keep watching!
