About Coffee

This is a blog that is centered around sports.  

As you may know, my name is Mickey White and I am a 19-year old Journalism student at the University of Missouri.  I'm originally from the Chicagoland area.  

As for the title "Coffee Is For Closers"; I took the line from the 1992 film, "Glengarry Glen Ross."  The title reflects my personality.  I am an opinionated person who runs on caffeine.  The tenacity that I write and analyze sports with is similar to that of a real estate agent.

I am open to having guest writers or staff writers.  If you want to write about something and have it up here, just contact me via email or facebook.

My teams are the Bears, Blackhawks, Notre Dame, Northwestern, Mizzou, White Sox and Bulls.  I also like the Jets, Red Sox, Pirates, Canadiens, LA Kings, West Virginia, Celtics, Florida and Northern Illinois.  The High School teams I have allegiances to are Wheaton-Warrenville South in Wheaton, IL and my alma mater Ridgewood in Norridge, IL.
